Born and raised in Knoxville, I’ve always been drawn to working with people and building something meaningful. I graduated from Bearden High School, where I played soccer, and continued both my education and soccer career at Pellissippi State Community College. Those experiences shaped my work ethic, discipline, and team-first mindset.

 Outside of work, I enjoy staying active, spending time outdoors, and constantly pushing myself to grow. At The Spencer Agency, my focus is simple: help people understand their insurance, make informed decisions, and feel confident about their coverage. I take pride in being approachable, honest, and committed to putting clients first—every time.

I’m a proud Knoxville native and Bearden High School alum with over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. Before founding The Spencer Agency with my son, I honed my expertise at John Bailey Company, gaining a deep understanding of both personal and commercial coverage. Over the years, I’ve helped hundreds of families, businesses, and individuals find protection that truly fits their needs and goals.

 Outside of insurance, I’m a musician and perform with the Knoxville-based band Soulfinger, which keeps me connected to my community and fuels my creativity. Building The Spencer Agency with Shawn has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my career. Together, we’re dedicated to serving our clients with integrity, heart, and a hometown-first approach, making insurance simple, honest, and personal.
